EA-Ukraine VideoCast: Selling Out Kyiv — Trump’s Economic Deals With Russia
I joined Poland’s TVP World on Sunday to analyze Donald Trump’s deal with Vladimir Putin to buy Russian diesel fuel, undermining Ukraine’s resistance against the Kremlin’s 55 1/2-month full-scale invasion.
I evaluate the consequences for US politics with forthcoming mid-term elections and the Trumpist takeover of the Republican Party “but as important as this is in the long-term, it does not get out of the immediate issues with Trump’s ludicrous decision to prop up Vladimir Putin”.
Placing the diesel deal with other economic collusion between the Kremlin and Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, I summarize:
This is not about getting stability with Russia. The Trump camp’s approach is to make profits off of Russia…and he is looking to sell out Ukraine to do so.
