EA on Australia’s ABC: Ukraine — Russia’s War in the Black Sea
I joined Frontline’s Kate Gerbeau on Thursday for a 32-minute deep dive into the extent of Donald Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine and alliance with Vladimir Putin in Russia’s 56-month invasion.
I do not hold back as I detail the Trump camp’s purchase of Russian diesel oil, likely cutoff of early-warning intelligence over Moscow’s missile and drone attacks, and restriction on the military version of Starlink.
I set out the political, economic, and personal motives of Trump’s inner circle. But I note that others in the Administration still want to defend Ukrainian and European security.
At Kate’s request, I close with a message to those in my native country about why is important to continue supporting Ukrainians.
