UPDATE, MARCH 23:

I spoke with Monocle 24’s Tom Edwards on Monday morning about the latest Coronavirus developments in the US, including the critical situation over medical supplies, the lack of leadership from Donald Trump, and the Senate discussions on a $1.8 trillion package for support of businesses and direct payments to Americans.

The very best thing that could be done in America right now is that Donald Trump is put into self-isolation while others take the steps that matter.

At a time when some do not lead, when some deceive and rant about the media and political foes, in community and community people are helping neighbors and sacrificing themselves.

It is at that grassroot level that the heroes will be found and that actions will make a difference.
