What we are seeing is this extraordinary case where the Federal Government is failing to coordinate a response, initially because of Trump’s denial of the virus and then because it doesn’t want to take on the task. It’s failing to coordinate social distancing guidelines, it’s failing to coordinate the supply of vital equipment including life-saving ventilators.
