Anne Sacoolas and Harry Dunn

I spoke on Friday with Roberto Perrone of BBC Three Counties about the Trump Administration’s refusal to extradite Anne Sacoolas over the hit-and-run killing of Harry Dunn near an American intelligence base last August.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued the rejection on Thursday. UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said the Government was “disappointed”.

That muted response points to the UK’s lack of leverage with the US, which is putting a priority on the protection of intelligence personnel — and their family members — over any justice and accountability.
