I joined the BBC’s Jeremy Vine on Tuesday to discuss why Donald Trump’s gleeful remarks about the killing of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi are damaging, in their effects on people in the Middle East as well as on US politics.

Andre Walker of The New York Post tries to defend Trump with the misleading remark that critics are “apologizing for Baghdadi” and an invocation of Hitler.
