My chat with Voice of Islam Radio on Thursday about nationalism, asking if it is a danger to international relations:
Pride in one’s nation can be a positive, but it can also be exploited. It can be used and manipulated to say, “We’re right and other people are wrong”, so “We have rights and they do not”.
At that point nationalism is a destructive force.
