Britain’s Channel 4 highlights the documents linking the Assad regime’s military leaders to the 10,000s of detainees abused, tortured, and killed in Syria’s prisons.
This is a fantastic piece of evidence because it shows the head of military intelligence was briefed on every single death of an individual in his custody.
He was, at his own request, consistently put on notice of the deaths of detainees for which he in law was ultimately responsible.
