A representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader has threatened the destruction of Israeli cities if Israel gives the Islamic Republic cause to strike.

Ali Shirazi, Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative Qods Force of the Revolutionary guards, said that “Tel Aviv and Haifa will be flattened”.

Shirazi was responding to an address by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday. Speaking at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said, “I have a message to the Iranian rulers: do not test the determination of the state of Israel. These are not empty words.”

Shirazi hit back, “Israel should be careful about its conduct. If it wants to extend its villainous existence for a few more days, it should give up foolishness”.

In its latest strike on military positions of Syria’s Assad regime, Israel killed seven Iranian personnel working in a facility in the center of the country.

The Israelis also struck the T-4 base, near Palmyra, in February. Netanyahu and Israeli officials said Iranian controllers at the base had directed a drone flight over Israel.
