Mattia Zulianello is a Research Fellow of the Populism in Action Project at th University of Birmingham. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Florence in Italy. Mattia is the author of the book Anti-System Parties: From Parliamentary Breakthrough to Government and of articles in international journals such as Government and Opposition; The International Journal of Press/Politics, Quality and Quantity – International Journal of Methodology; European Politics and Society; and Contemporary Italian Politics.
