Donald Trump’s attempt to put himself on a $250 bill
EA on LBC and DW News: Trump’s Indecision on Iran Deal
In a 41-minute special, I joined Times Radio’s Maddie Hale to analyze two very different types of failure for Donald Trump and his inner circle: his war on Iran and his ego-driven tributes to himself in Washington, D.C.
We begin with a deep dive into the latest around the negotiations for a first-stage framework deal to end the US-Israel War. I explain how Trump was close to accepting an Iran-led deal last weekend, but then got cold feet because of criticism that he was giving away too much to Tehran.
So we are now “trapped in limbo” as Trump has to give way to a deal, because of pressure at home and from the Gulf States, but does not want the deal that has been proposed.
Asked if this has exposed Trump no longer being a brilliant negotiator, I reply bluntly, “He never was a brilliant negotiator,” and then take apart the Administration’s approach to diplomacy and foreign policy.
We have a brief interlude for Trump’s absolutely fantastic, nothing-to-see-here medical report, where I call upon my own expert Dr. Arnold Kwak.
Then we sift through the smoldering spectacle of Trump and “America 250”. A judge has ordered the removal of Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The music festival later this month on the Washington Mall after all performers — except possible for Flo Rida and Vanilla Ice — recognized that this was not a tribute to America’s 250th birthday but to Donald.
