“Our air shield has been further strengthened. If all partners were as determined, Russian terror could already have been made impossible,” Zelensky posted.
ORIGINAL ENTRY: Russian forces killed at least 13 civilians and injured more than 40 in attacks on south and south-central Ukraine on Friday.
A strike around 6 p.m. on a car repair shop in Zaporizhzhia city killed 10 people, including two children, as the building was turned into a large fireball, said Governor Yevgeny Balitsky.
A local official said 24 people were injured, including two children.
In the afternoon, a missile strike on an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih killed three civilians and wounded at least 17 others, including a six-year-old boy. Residential houses were also damaged.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy commented:
Thousands of such strikes Russia has carried out during this war make it absolutely clear: Putin does not seek real peace—he seeks the ability to treat any country this way, with bombs, missiles, and all other forms of violence. Only through strength can we resist this. And only through strength can real peace be established.
Russia’s words mean nothing, but their bombs and missiles speak volumes.
