EA on BBC: US Finally Allows Ukraine’s Strikes Inside Russia

I joined Dublin NewsTalk’s Pat Kenny Show on Tuesday for a 9-minute analysis of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I assess the likelihood of consensus on key issues from climate change to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I talk about the disappearance of Joe Biden from the international scene, and the challenges for the international community of Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

Along the way, I discuss the significance of the US lifting its ban on Ukraine’s long-range strikes inside Russia. I explain why little can be expected over Israel’s open-ended war on Gaza. And I outline the threat of Trump’s plans for global tariffs.
