After the murder of Amess on Friday, I analyze how to provide security for MPs in a country where face-to-face meetings with constituents are common.

I think it’s our responsibility as constituents to work with MPs to take the heat out of extremism to make this a better society.

Then it’s time to get full-and-frank about Johnson’s irresponsibility and negligence of his job.

Boris Johnson’s speech to the Conservative Party conference was “Build Back Butter”, “Build Back Bitter”, “Build Back Batter”, and, bizarrely, “Build Back Beaver”.

That’s not serious politics. That’s not being a Prime Minister. That’s having a jolly with your office just before having a very expensive jolly with your wife.
