I joined Monocle 24’s Georgina Godwin on Tuesday to discuss the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan over Coronavirus and its economic effects.

With the Plan almost certain to be passed by Congress on Wednesday morning and then signed by President Joe Biden, we look at its provisions to explain why — beyond dealing with the pandemic — it is the Federal Government’s most extensive anti-poverty initiative in a generation and possibly since the 1960s.
