I joined the BBC World Service’s Razia Iqbal on Tuesday to explain why Donald Trump went on his “total authority” rant over Coronavirus, and why it’s a false proclamation under the US Constitution.

I put Trump’s latest outburst in the context of his animosity towards State Governors, who have filled the void as the Administration has failed to take action, and his priority on “re-opening” the economy in defiance of medical and public health advisors.
