PHOTO: A message from Syria “Aleppo Grieves for Jo”

Syrian women pay tribute to Jo Cox, the British MP assassinated last week in her constituency surgery in West Yorkshire:

Jo was the champion of the women’s campaign to break the siege on Darayya….She was the Number One politician in Syria supporting Syrian civilians….She always said that Britain should receive a larger number of Syrian refugees….She coordinated the European call for airdrops of aid….In Britain she was leading the call for a no-fly zone to protect civilians….

She always insisted that Assad was the principal source of the conflict and that ISIS was outcome of not protecting civilians….She was one of the most outspoken people in the British Parliament for the need to break sieges….

The women of Syria will miss you and never forget you.
