Iraq Video: Shia Militiaman Informs Crying Islamic State Fighters of the Death of Their Commander

A video snapshot from the current offensive by Iraqi forces and Shia militia against the Islamic State in Tikrit (see separate entry)….

A militiaman from Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq intercepts a call from Islamic State fighters to their commanders. He happily informs them, “Your Sheikh was killed,” as was another commander: “There were three ISIS terrorists inside a car. We destroyed them all and destroyed their supplies.”

The Islamic State fighters promise retribution; however, in the ensuing contest of which side represents God, a jihadist breaks down, “We will complete our martyrdom mission….You’ll go to hell and us to heaven.”
