I joined Ukrainian journalists Daniel Tkiie and Sofia Nazarenko on Thursday for a 32-minute deep dive into Russia’s 53 1/2-month full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

We begin with J.D. Vance’s demand to Kyiv to halt attacks on Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.

While Ukraine agreed in the July 31 call to refrain from striking non-sanctioned vessels, Kyiv resumed its strikes on the port this week. It has damaged four Russian warships, knocked out two grain terminals, and forced an oil terminal to suspend operations.
