Ukraine’s drones have struck another logistics hub of “Russia’s Amazon”, Wildberries.

The facility is in the village of Novaya Usman in the Voronezh region. It was engulfed in flames following a series of explosions.

Voronezh Governor Aleksandr Gusev claimed a 49-year-old man was killed and two injured. He insisted that all 15 drones had been shot down, and that the casualties were from falling drone debris.

Since mid-July, Ukraine has inflicted billions of dollars of damage on Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer.

Reports are circulating that the Orsk oil refinery in the Orenburg region was also attacked and set afire.

The refinery, about 1,450 km (900 miles) from the frontline, has a processing capacity of around 6.6 million tons of crude oil per year.

ORIGINAL ENTRY: At least five civilians have been murdered and 20 injured by Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia city in southeast Ukraine overnight.

Explosions in Zaporizhzhia and the capital Kyiv were reported around 12:30 a.m. as Ukraine’s Air Force warned of Russian ballistic missiles targeting the two citieis and the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.

“We heard around 10 explosions, I believe they were ballistics,” said a Kyiv Independent reporter in Zaporizhzhia. “And we just had one bad blast [likely from a guided aerial bomb] that shook the whole building like an earthquake.”

Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces targeted the regional center with ballistic missiles and guided aerial bombs. Homes and other buildings were damaged and set afire, and power was cut in some areas.

One person was injured in July amid several loud explosions, some near the city center. Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned residents to seek shelter.

A warehouse was damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky posted:

Every step Russia takes – increasing ballistic missile production, bringing in North Korean equipment, preparing for mobilization – all of this shows that Moscow is preparing not for peace, but for escalation. And the world needs to respond now, not wait. More sanctions pressure specifically on enterprises that fuel Russia’s war, more air defense assistance for Ukraine – all of this is needed to give peace a chance.
