EA on International Outlets: Trump’s Visit to China

EA-Ukraine VideoCast: Zelensky Plays His Cards v. Russia and Trump

I joined Poland’s TVP World on Thursday morning to link Donald Trump’s visit to China with Ukraine’s resistance of Russia’s invasion.

In the 13-minute interview, I consider if the Kremlin is using Trump’s trip as cover for some of its most widespread drone and missile attacks during the 51-month full-scale invasion.

The Russians are doing this partly because they are under military and economic pressure, but also because they believe they can get away with it.

We consider China’s position on the invasion, with evidence of Chinese companies providing components and technology for Russia’s assaults but with the Government taking a cautious line.

And I look at a divided Trump Administration: while the man in the White House and some of his advisors may abandon Kyiv, other officials are speaking with Ukraine about its advance drone technology and production.
