EA on International Outlets: Will Iran’s Proposal End Trump’s War?
I joined Talk TV’s Petrie Hosken on Tuesday night about the Trump Administration’s troubled war on Iran, and whether it will pursue “regime surrender” in Cuba.
In a 20-minute chat, I begin by cutting through the Trumpian bluster to establish the state of the negotiations over an Iran framework deal.
With the Trumpists running out of options to avoid a compromise in the talks, handing Iran increased influence and sanctions relief while failing to end Tehran’s nuclear program, I summarize the pressure put by the Administration on Cuba.
I consider that pressure in the context of the Venezuela precedent, the Trumpist quest for dominance in the Western Hemisphere, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s likely Presidential campaign in 2028.
