The Russians fired 19 ballistic missiles, 25 cruise missiles, and 659 drones. Twelve missiles and 20 drones hit 26 locations.

Ukraine’s Air Force issued a ballistic missile alert at around 2:35 a.m. Minutes later, journalists reported loud explosions. Residential neighborhoods in the cities of Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa bore the brunt of the attack.

Less than an hour later, Kyiv was targeted by another wave of ballistic missiles. At least four people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed and 48 injured.

The wounded include children, four emergency medics, and two police officers.

As emergency crews were cleared the wreckage of the overnight assault, air raid alarms sounded over Kyiv again. A Russian drone struck an apartment building.

In the Podilskyi district, a non-residential building sustained a direct hit. A residential building was set on fire, and a three-story hotel, and the sixth floor of an apartment building were damaged.

Missile debris partially destroyed a home, where a mother and child were rescued from the rubble by first responders. Shortly after 7 a.m., a low-flying Russian drone crashed into an 18-story building.

In the Obolonskyi district, an office building was damaged. A fire was set at a two-story residential building in the Desnyanskyi district by falling missile debris.

In Dnipro, at least two civilians were murdered and 27 injured. Fourteen victims were hospitalized, with five in critical condition.

Fires blazed in residential neighborhoods. Apartments, offices, administrative buildings, a factory, and vehicles were damaged.

In Odesa, seven people were killed and 11 injured. The attacks damaged infrastructure facilities, a residential building, and a city park.

A drone strike earlier in the day killed one man and injured six people.
