I joined Poland’s TVP World on Wednesday to answer their question if Donald Trump will be getting rid of his unelected co-President Elon Musk.
The enquiry was sparked by Trump’s statement on Tuesday that Musk will soon be going back to his businesses.
I explain why Trump’s line was more a cover for Musk’s dubious status as a “special government employee”. While even that position has not been established as Musk’s men steal information and cripple US agencies, it nominally has a 130-day limit.
So Musk will continue to be a destructive presence, from his social media agitation to his electoral interference to his firing of tens of thousands of Government personnel.
