I joined Poland’s TVP World on Monday to explain how the UK Government is punishing legal immigrants with consequences for the British economy and society.

I begin with the personal reflection that, had this Government inflicted these proposals when I was an immigrant, I could not have made my life and career here.

Then I set out the damage to UK sectors such as the National Health Service, care provision, higher education, and manufacturing from the vindictive plans of a Government desperately trying to retain power in next year’s elections.
