ORIGINAL ENTRY, OCT 8: The Assad regime and its protector Russia have killed at least 11 people and injured 78 in attacks on opposition-held areas of the Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama regions in northwest Syria.

Residents and White Helmets civil defense reported bombing and shelling across the territory.

Most of the casualties were in and near Idlib city. Other areas attacked included Jisr al-Shughour, Jericho district, al-Majdal, al-Mastumah, Maarbalit, Sarrin, Turmanin and Darat Izza.
