I joined Times Radio’s Rosie Wright on Monday morning to analyze the assassination of prominent Russian military blogger Maksim Fomin, a.k.a. Vladlen Tatarsky, in the bombing of a St. Petersburg cafe on Sunday evening.

I review the bombing and the context to consider a range of suspects: Ukraine, Russian dissidents, or Russian State actors who were in conflict with Fomin and/or his patron, the head of the Wagner Group mercenaries Yevgeny Prigozhin.

This bombing was in a Wagner Group location. Was this an attack by the Russian State to show Mr. Prigozhin, “Don’t you dare get too big for your boots even as we use your mercenaries on the frontline in Ukraine?”
