With the first ship with Ukrainian grain — the Sierra Leone-flagged Razoni, en route to Lebanon — leaving a Black Sea port since Russia’s February 24 invasion, I joined Turkey’s ANews on Thursday to analyze whether there will now be many more shipments.
I discuss the arrangements for the grain ships, the significance for global supplies, and whether Vladimir Putin will dare disrupt the movement after being defeated in his use of the “food weapon”.
What is process with this ship (inspections) as a precedent? American Studies Professor @ScottLucas_EA gives his analysis on Ukraine grain exports.
