I joined talkRADIO’s Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije for a 10-minute discussion on Saturday about issues in UK politics, from paying for social care and the National Health Service to the debate over Coronavirus vaccinations for all 12-15 years olds.

Listen from 9:30 in 1730-1800 Segment

First, we consider the Johnson Government’s quandary after it promised — but did not deliver — a plan to deal with a critical shortage of funding for health care. Does it removed the “triple lock” on pensions, risking a backlash from older voters? Or does it raise National Health Insurance payments, putting the cost on those who are younger?

Then I explain carefully the issues over whether only 10% of the UK’s 3 million 12 to 15 year-olds are vaccinated, or whether — like most European countries, Israel, the US, Canada, Australia, and others — all are given the Coronavirus vaccine.
