In a special chat with talkRADIO’s Andre Walker on Saturday, I responded to the fake populism — and disinformation — of Steve Bannon, hard-right ideologue, white nationalist, and former White House chief strategist.

Following Bannon’s appearance on the program, I spoke with Walker about the activist’s mission in the name of “populism” to boost hard-right and far-right parties across Europe as well as to promote Donald Trump.

As my granddaddy would say: if he could package what Steve Bannon was shipping you, his crops would grow really high and there would be a helluva harvest in the autumn.

Steve Bannon is not a populist. Steve Bannon is not there for the people.

Steve Bannon is there to tear down institutions, saying everyone is your enemy. Courts are your enemy. Banks are your enemy. Corporations are your enemy. Civil servants are your enemy. Parliament and Congress are your enemy. Immigrants are definitely your enemy.

Bannon’s mission is to do this to say that only the hard-right parties whom he likes — and Donald Trump — are your friends.

We talk about how Bannon is trying to do this not only in the US but through Brexit in the UK, as well as with the far-right parties across Europe.
