I spoke this morning with CNN International’s George Howell about keeping focus on the Trump Trial — and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s protection of Trump by blocking witnesses and documents.

I also call for an effective focus on Secretary Mike Pompeo: “My priority is not his possible run for the Senate. It’s what he and Rudy Giuliani talked about in March amid the Trump-Giuliani push for Ukraine’s investigations, and what Pompeo knew in August about Trump’s freezing of security assistance to Kiev for those investigations.”
