In a 20-minute podcast, I joined Voice of Islam Radio to discuss politics and society amid Brexit and last month’s European elections.
We consider the best way to pursue dialogue in the tensions and emotions which have been stirred in the UK since the 2016 Brexit referendum, and facing far-right movements in Europe.
Day to day it is hard to take in all the facts, so people can be guided by emotion. So in the next few months, we have got to get back to a common understanding, before we even issue the word “Brexit”, of what it is that we want as a country.
