Donald Trump on the US-Mexico border, Calexico, California, April 5, 2019 (AP)

In our weekly 10-minute journey across Trump-Land, I joined talkRADIO’s Alexis Conran on Saturday to discuss Donald Trump’s latest anti-immigrant tactics for his 2020 re-election campaign.

Listen from 5:04 during 1730-1800 Segment

We look at Trump’s empty threat to close the US-Mexico border, his trip to Calexico, California to stand in front of an enhanced fence, and the sudden withdrawal of the appointment of Ronald Vitiello as Immigration and Customs Enforcement director — a withdrawal because of the belief of Trump’s xenophobic advisor Stephen Miller that Vitiello isn’t “hard” enough.

He’s gonna stand with his bigliest arms across all 2,000 miles of the border and shout, “They shall not pass.”

We then shift to an “I told you so” over the Mueller Report, noting our prediction a week earlier that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team would begin reacting against Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to bury the report and protect Trump.
