More than 20 Revolutionary Guards have been killed in a suicide attack in southeastern Iran, according to a Guards-linked site.

Fars said a roadside bomb targeted a bus transporting 40 troops on the road between the cities of Zahedan and Khash in Sistan-Baluchestan Province. Ten Guards were wounded.

Fars said the bombing was claimed by the Baluch separatist group Jaish ul-Adl has carried out a series of assassinations and abductions of Iranian personnel in recent years.

The attacks came hours after the Supreme Leader closed 10 days of celebration of the 1979 Islamic Revolution with a speech in Tehran.

Ayatollah Khamenei proclaimed a roadmap for “The Second Phase of Islamic Revolution”.
