I spoke with Eamonn Holmes of talkRADIO on Thursday about Donald Trump’s latest provocative statements over immigration, from his contradictory comments on The Wall with Mexico to his threat to abandon a deal over the future of 800,000 young undocumented immigrants in the US.

The conversation concludes with an assessment of Trump’s attempt to curb a free and critical press through the “Fake News Awards”.

The other participant is Trump spokesperson Jan Halper-Hayes.

Listen from 6:17 in the 1700-1730 Segment

The Wall is a superficial, symbolic issue. What is also being discussed is whether the US is going to sharply cut back on the number of immigrants and refugees which it takes in and, most seriously, whether 800,000 young immigrants are going to lose their protections and be deported.
