Two days after Donald Trump assured Twitter followers that he would be “back to work…to Make America Great Again”, the President’s staff tried to hide him playing golf.
Trump spent both Tuesday and Wednesday at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, with no public events scheduled. Trying to prevent anyone seeing him “back to work”, his staff arranged yesterday for a large white truck to block the view of any prying journalist eyes.

The summoning of the truck followed CNN’s video capture of Trump on Tuesday:

Trump, who frequently criticized his predecessor Barack Obama for playing golf, has been on the course on 87 days — and spent 112 days at Trump-owned properties — during his Presidency. The golf courses and other activities have cost almost $100 million.
Trump did take a break from golf on Tuesday afternoon to make a sudden appearance at a West Palm Beach fire station. After thanking paramedics and fire fighters, he extolled a $1.5 trillion tax change, passed last week, and spoke about the station getting “military equipment” even though “they didn’t want [you] to use the military equipment”.
