As both Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin warn that US-Russian relations “are at an all-time low”, Adam Quinn of the University of Birmingham speaks with BBC Radio Foyle on Thursday:
I think it is a bit of a stretch to say it’s the worst relations that the US and Russia have ever had, but things aren’t great. And this is not how we expected it to be: Donald Trump came into power extremely hopeful that there would be a major change in relations between the US and Russia. He has a long history of pro-Russian positions.
