EA’s Cormac Smith joined India’s WION on Saturday to analyze whether Donald Trump will implement new sanctions against Russia over its 55-month full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The House completed Congressional passage of legislation for 100% tariffs against the top five countries buying Russian oil or helping Moscow evade international sanctions.
Trump signed the bill on Friday. However, given his past affinity for Vladimir Putin, his inner circle’s emphasis on future economic projects with Russia, and his unpredictability, will he implement the measures?
