EA-Times Radio VideoCast: How Russia Lost Territory in Ukraine In February

I joined Ukraine’s War and Politics 24 on Thursday for a 33-minute deep dive into how the US-Israel war on Iran is affecting Ukraine’s defense against Russian invasion.

I begin with latest developments, including Ukrainian strikes on Russian warships and vessels of the “shadow fleet” circumventing sanctions on Moscow’s oil exports.

But I then look at the two-sided effects of the war on Iran. On the one hand, Ukraine can seek political and military support through provision of anti-drone technology and equipment to the US and countries in the Middle East.

On the other, the US is depleting stocks, both offensive munitions and air defense systems, which could be sold to NATO countries for supply to Kyiv.

And the war effectively suspends any Ukraine-Russia-US talks to end Russia’s 4-year full-scale invasion.
