EA on ANewz: Ukraine — Reading Putin’s Signals

EA’s Cormac Smith joins Shaun Pinner, a former UN peacekeeper veteran of Ukraine’s resistance against Russia’s invasion, with Silicon Curtain’s Jonathan Fink to evaluate Vladimir Putin’s effort — perhaps his last — to force Ukrainian surrender this winter.

They begin with the question of whether the invasion can be called a “genocide”. As Russia expands its airstrikes on civilian areas, Cormac explains how the Kremlin’s assault meets the five tests for that classification under the UN Convention.

They then pose the question: will other countries step up the necessary support of Ukraine to maintain its resistance?
