I joined Poland’s TVP World on Saturday for a 14-minute assessment of the next developments in Ukraine’s resistance of Russia’s invasion, following the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in the White House.

I go beyond the issue of Tomahawk missiles to examine the military, economic, and political fronts. I explain Trump’s chaotic approach, including manipulation of him by Vladimir Putin, which noting that Zelensky and European partners will be trying to build links with Trump Administration officials.

I consider how Europe could do more to bolster Ukraine amid the uncertainty of Trump. And I note that Putin is acting from a position of vulnerability, as he faces limited progress on the frontline and Ukraine’s counter-attacks.
