Q&A: Why Trump and Netanyahu Differ Over Iran — and Why It Makes No Difference for Gaza

I joined India’s WION on Sunday to evaluate the latest developments in Israel’s mass killings in Gaza.

Watch from 4:00:

Earlier in the day, at least 39 Gazans were killed as they tried to get food from the Israel-linked “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”, an initiative covering up the Israeli full blockade of aid from the start of March. They were reportedly slain by Israeli drones and tank fire.

I set the killings in the context of the blockade and of Israel’s renewed military operations, as the Netanyahu Government pursues a long-term occupation of Gaza.

I explain how Hamas had accepted a US framework for a 60-day ceasefire. However, when Israel raised objections, Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff revised the document and blamed the Gazan group for refusing its terms.
