Ukraine War, Day 1,186: 12+ Killed in 2nd Night of Intense Russian Missile and Drone Strikes
I joined India’s WION on Sunday to analyze Russia’s most intense missile and drone strikes of its 39-month full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
I explain how the Kremlin is trying to fend off a ceasefire and pursue its maximum demands for the capitulation of Ukraine. With its advances slowed in the east of the country and — because of resource issues and economic challenges — the possible closing of the window for the invasion, the Kremlin is trying to break the will of the Ukrainian people.
I also discuss what steps the Trump Administration could take to bolster Ukraine’s resistance, were it not for an unpredictable, chaotic Donald Trump with his affinity for Vladimir Putin.
