I joined Times Radio on Thursday for a 20-minute VideoCast on Donald Trump’s confused, chaotic, and ultimately not-so-tough performance as a supposed “President”.
The discussion begins with an examination of Trump’s ultimatum — a “final deal” — imposing the Kremlin’s demands upon Ukraine, including the cession of Crimea and parts of four regions.
But after the Zelensky Government rejected the demands, Trump dissolved into frustration and incoherence, lashing out at Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and even — in a rare criticism — at Vladimir Putin.
I explain how Trump — as a businessman and politician — is a bully who disappears when punched in the nose, offering examples from Israel-Gaza to his tariffs debacle.
The problem for Trump is that he is not going to get his photo opportunity with Vlad, this week or next week.
Not only is it not going to happen, it’s looking quite distant.
Nice close “… and it ain’t working out”
Bud,
Thank you, good sir — I learned all my best lines from you.
