I explain how the campaign of Harris, now the de facto Democratic candidate, “hit the ground campaign”. I take apart Trump’s attempt to cover up his withdrawal from a September 10 debate with the Vice President. And I consider who might Harris’s running mate, such as Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky, and Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona.

I also evaluate why Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin vetoed the deal, arranged by military prosecutors, for three 9-11 plotters to plead guilty and receive a life sentence rather than the possibility of the death penalty after a trial.
