EA on Monocle Radio and BBC: Trump’s Criminal Trial Begins
I joined Monocle Radio’s The Briefing on Wednesday to analyze the state of Donald Trump’s trial in New York on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
The charges are connected with Trump’s interference in the 2016 Presidential election through a $130,000 payoff to porn star Stormy Daniels, buying her silence weeks before the vote over their sexual encounters a decade earlier.
I discuss Trump’s $9,000 fine for contempt of court over his abusive social media posts; his conduct in the courtroom; and the status of the other three criminal trials and 54 felony counts.
