On Tuesday, the US Supreme Court in a 6-3 vote allowed Texas Governor Greg Abbott to use State law enforcement in a campaign against migrants and asylum seekers — only for a US Appeals Court to block Abbott’s initiative hours later.

I joined Monocle Radio’s Chris Cermak to explain the power play by Abbott and the Texas legislature, trying to seize the powers of the Federal Government, and the ensuing legal manuevers.
