The second half begins with a look at the travails of the ruling Scottish Nationalist Party, with its rapid loss of competence and legitimacy, and the consequences for both day-to-day governance and the quest for Scotland’s independence.
Then it’s to the US for a review of the situation one year after conservative Supreme Court justices overturned Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose over abortion. I consider the damage amid a series of states instituting bans, with the effect on health care for millions of women.
