I joined Monocle 24’s Andrew Mueller on Tuesday afternoon to analyze the Durham “Report”, a political hit job trying to undermine the investigation of the links between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia’s interference in the election.

US Attorney John Durham was tapped in May 2019 by Trump’s protector, Attorney General William Barr, to bury the substantial evidence in the Mueller Report of the Trump campaign’s collaboration — direct and indirect — with Russian actors. Four years later, having spent more than $6 million but failing to obtain any significant criminal convictions or even to produce new evidence, Durham has published his assault on the FBI.

Some media outlets, including those not named Fox TV, have published Durham’s assertions without any attempt to consider whether they have merit.

I wasn’t having that. So I go full blast on the “report”, providing the context, politics, and the facts.
