I joined BBC Radio 5 Live on Friday to analyze the House select committee’s subpoena of Donald Trump amid mounting evidence of his coup attempt and incitement of the Capitol Attack of January 6, 2021.

There has never been a President who has tried to overturn a democratic election. There has never been a President who has incited violence.

We are in entirely unprecedented times. And yet public opinion has not shifted in the six months of this Committee and all the evidence it has presented.

We have seen the fear but we haven’t yet seen the justice.
